Identify who is coordinating the repair

Know whether the request is coming from a homeowner, HOA, property manager, landlord or commercial owner. Shared walls often require clear communication before work begins.

Gather photos from both sides when allowed

If access is available and permitted, photos from both sides can help show movement, cracking, landscaping and the wall base.

Record the basic scope

Approximate wall length, height, location of damage, nearest gate or pilaster, access constraints and whether the wall is shared are useful before an estimate.

Keep approvals separate from the contractor scope

HOA or neighbor approvals are project-administration issues. The repair scope should still be based on the wall condition and the work being authorized.

Use this guide to prepare—not to diagnose an unstable wall yourself.

If the wall appears unsafe, keep your distance. Text photos to 623-226-0192 or call Desert Dreamco LLC for the next step.
